Bodog Cash Sessions
Over the past 3 days I have made about $25 grinding out one table of .25/.50 NLHE. While it is obviously not a whole lot of online poker money, sometimes you have to calculate your profit in terms of # of big blinds won. At .50 a BB, $25 is 50 BB’s. That’s actually pretty good. Typically, in No Limit, people tend to lose track of their BB profit in lieu of their goal to double-up. Limit poker games are tougher to score big on, so a more proper gauge of your success is to look at how many “bets” or big blinds you’ve won, either by hour or by session. Even if you go on a heater, and scoop some big pots, if you stay long enough, you have to lose some of it back. Obviously low stakes limit games have a great deal more to do with how well your cards hold up, and higher stakes limit games rely more on position and strategy at the casino online; the bigger the minimum bet, the more people have to think about its value. In No Limit games, people tend to go for bigger scores. They are looking to double up and get out a lot of the time.
